The Story Behind the Brand

After embracing her natural hair journey in 2014, Joy Poteat began creating her own products using organic, plant-powered ingredients. What started as a hobby evolved into a movement when friends and family encouraged her to turn her passion into a business. By 2016, NJOY Natural was born—offering high-quality hair care, skincare, and facial products that customers trust and love.

NJOY Natural also aims to educate its community on using everyday ingredients for long-term wellness—helping others heal from the inside out.

Joy Poteat is a multi-passionate entrepreneur with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an MBA. She resides in Midwest City, OK, and is deeply committed to creating products that heal, inspire, and empower. Through JoyWorks Marketplace, Joy merges creativity with purpose, faith with functionality, and passion with excellence.
